As I nearly nudged Steven off the bed.

Neither of us could believe that we were actually now going to have to drag ourselves out of bed, get ourselves ready and go clubbing. Now if you know Steven and I this is not normally a problem for us, we maybe go home a little earlier than we used to, but we know how to have a wee party to ourselves.

This was extreme and both of us really struggled to get our acts together. We couldn’t let the girls down though, they had travelled all the way from Cyprus for the launch and were now ready to party at our launch party.

We got to the O2 at around 1am and when we got there they refused to let us in, even after I explained it was the launch party for the exhibition, they still refused to believe us and we had to wait until the organiser got involved.

It turns out he was happy to have the party in our honour but wasn’t expecting us to actually turn up and support the event. How crazy is that, a party in our honour and we weren’t even expected to attend it. Worst of all we could have stayed in bed haha! Only joking of course.

It took us a while to get into it but to be honest if you have never been to one of the Club De Fromage evenings, I can’t recommend it enough. The guy hosting it is amazing, the cheesy music, stage competitions and generally wall to wall madness is infectious.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay for long, as much as we were starting to get into all the fun, we realised we had another full day ahead of us with the second day of the exhibition. It was due to be crazy busy again and so we did the sensible thing and bowed out early. Left the Cyprus girls to enjoy the cheesiness but I am sure they bowed out not too long after us.

Every part of my body ached as I got back into bed that night, but my brain was spinning. What an incredible couple of days it had been. Not everything was perfect but with events of this size it’s very rare that absolutely everything runs smoothly. What we could be happy with, was every aspect that we were in direct control of had ran smoothly and was continuing to work well.

Time for some sleep hopefully, before having to do it all the next day and again for the next 26 days after that.
